Eligibility Guidelines
Basic eligibility requirements under our Grants, Cash Flow Loan and Discretionary programs include nonprofits that have been in existence for at least one (1) year and who work within the Foundation’s areas of geographic and programmatic giving as detailed below.
Requests are accepted from organizations in Baltimore City and in the following Maryland counties: Allegany, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Frederick, Garrett, Harford, Howard, and Washington.
Organizations located outside these geographic areas are not eligible for grants.
Awards are made in five Program categories:

- Nonsectarian private schools specifically catering to special needs
- Private colleges and universities

Organizations in operation for less than one year
