to pay a part time Executive Director for one year for this organization which provides recreation and sports activity for disabled individuals

to help fund a part time position for an Executive Director

to replace seven heat pumps and compressor systems that are functioning poorly and are far beyond their useful life span  
Boys & Girls Club of Annapolis & AA County $65,000
to fund the salary and benefits of a full time development director to assist in raising the necessary funds to sustain their services for the new Club at Bates and for their 4 branches and 2 outreach sites  
CASA of Baltimore City $30,000
to support two part time salaries and expenses associated with volunteer outreach and supersivion

to support the volunteers' advocacy efforts on behalf of children involved in abuse and neglect proceedings in juvenile court  
Center for Fathers, Families and Workforce Development $50,000
to support a year-long implementation of its Men's Services Program, which seeks to improve skills, competencies and self-esteem of low income fathers

to help support a basic employment assistance service available to youth in the Brooklyn Curtis Bay area

towards operational expenses of the YMCA Fit and Healthy Families Program, which serves a poor area in Maryland, and will help obese children, who are in danger of developing serious health problems  
Downtown Sailing Center $30,000
to assist with the salary of a new Director of Education and Programs, that will allow them to continue to grow their outreach efforts for inner City youth to acquire life skills taught by the sailing experience, including becoming mentors for younger children  
Easter Seals Adult Day Services $20,000
to purchase new and sturdy disability age-appropriate furniture, accessories and equipment to accommodate the expanded program space and increased enrollment to help senior and adults with disabilities avoid institutional care  
Family & Children's Services of Central Maryland $35,000
for operational support for counseling and outreach services for families with children in the  FCS' North Laurel/Savage are of Howard County which has the highest percentage of female-headed multi-family households  
Frederick Community Action Agency $35,000
to complete the renovation of a 5,700 square foot facility to serve as a food bank

to install a commercial kitchen at the new Pimlico Road Arts and Community Center

to compete the $150,000 first phase of a pilot project that engages child care providers in recognizing recognition and response for four-year olds to be able to diagnose any learning disabilities

to purchase 52 new desktop workstations, to replace the current teacher computers located in each classroom, 6 LCD projectors, 4 tablet PC's  and a wireless environment to be installed in the offices of the DePaul program (an educational program specifically designed for students with learning disabilities)

towards the Summer Activity Extraordinaire (SAX): music and Dance Program held at Loyola College for as-risk youth ages 4 - 17.  Participants learn to play an instrument of their choice leading up to a final concert performance

towards the purchase of surgical instruments, and glucometers and test strips for diabetic patients  
Dove Center $923
to purchase a new sleep sofa for the shelter facilities living area to be used when all bedrooms are full

to cover the shortfall for fiscal year ending June 30, 2006 because of public funding cuts in their education program funding

for procuring and installing wireless equipment to create a computer network bridge from the building which houses UCAN to that of St. Joseph Parish (Texas) where the network infrastructure is located
