towards the purchase of 70 electronic tour guides which will hold exhibition information that is unique for each type of visitor

towards purchasing three digital consoles in order to fully utilize the new ENCO system for this public radio station

towards the Maryland Sports Hero Project, a hands-on learning experience with a series of educational materials and programs for inner City Catholic elementary and middle schools

towards the replacement of the main line tracks from the Roundhouse, re-linking the museum to the CSX track system.  
Baltimore Choral Arts Society $10,000
in operating support for their 35th Anniversary Season. BCAS serves children, seniors, student musicians and the economically disadvantaged and disabled by keeping ticket prices affordable as well as performing several free concerts each year.  
Baltimore Opera Company $25,000
to underwrite the principal artist fees for "Aida."  
Handel Choir $30,000
for operating costs to continue the present program schedule and to add a full-time Children's Chorus Director.  
WJHU Radio $69,790
to purchase digital editing equipment for this radio service which provides primarily local, regional, national, and world news, including public and cultural affairs.
