Greg Cantori

Since 1999, Greg has managed the general operations of the foundation, including grantmaking, investments, implementing new initiatives, and overseeing the work of staff and volunteer trustees. He serves as Chair of the Association of Baltimore Area Grantmakers’ (ABAG) Evaluation and Effectiveness Affinity Group. He was formerly the executive director of Light Street Housing, implementing the vision of “Homelessness to Homeownership.” He serves on the boards of One Less Car and the Faith Fund. Greg has an extensive background in sailing and cycling, regularly commuting 22 miles (each way) to the Knott Foundation via pedal power. He holds an Executive M.B.A. degree from Loyola College (2002) and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Cartography from UMBC (1983).
