Dear Friends:

For nearly 35 years, the Marion I. & Henry J. Knott Foundation has perpetuated the legacy of generosity established by our founders, Marion I. and Henry J. Knott.  Today, three generations of Knott family members sit on the Foundation’s Board of Trustees and guide the Foundation’s giving to nonprofit organizations throughout the Archdiocese of Baltimore.  The Board takes a very active role in the Foundation’s grantmaking – performing site visits, reviewing proposals, writing analyses, and discussing and deciding upon funding requests.  The resulting grants reflect the Knott family’s continued dedication to strengthening our community. 

As a Catholic family foundation, we feel blessed to have the opportunity to share in the good work that our nonprofit partners do, and we look forward to continuing to share those blessings in the future.
