Dear Friends:
Since its inception in 1977, the goal of the Marion I. & Henry J. Knott Foundation has been to serve the community within the geographic boundaries of the Archdiocese of Baltimore through the funding of worthwhile organizations and causes within certain parameters. The Knott family’s legacy of service, community involvement and support was built by Marion I. & Henry J. Knott and is the cornerstone of this goal. Through succeeding generations, this commitment to Baltimore has stayed intact. Young members of the Knott family continue to become involved in the Foundation’s work. The family is directly involved in the Foundation, performing site visits, reviewing requests, writing analyses, discussing merits and coming to decisions on funding. The resulting grants reflect the Knott family’s continuing desire, on behalf of and in honor of Marion I. and Henry J. Knott, to serve the greater community in the best way possible.
We feel blessed by the opportunity to assist others and look forward to continuing to share those blessings.
